This Payment Policy explains how payments are processed when you buy merchandise through shop.onebanking.app, how taxes are handled, what payment methods we accept, and what rules apply when completing a purchase. This policy is a legal part of our terms for all buyers.


1. Scope of This Policy

This Payment Policy applies to all merchandise orders placed through shop.onebanking.app and covers payments collected through:

  • Shopify Payments

  • Shop Pay (via Shopify Payments)

  • PayPal

This policy applies to customers worldwide and complies with:

  • EU consumer protection laws

  • Malta business regulations

  • Electronic Commerce laws

  • PSD2 payment security rules

  • International tax and anti-fraud regulations


2. Available Payment Methods

2.1. Credit and Debit Cards (via Shopify Payments)

We accept most major cards, including:

  • Visa

  • Mastercard

  • American Express

  • Maestro

  • Other network cards supported by Shopify Payments

Payments are securely processed by Shopify Payments. One Finance Limited does not store or access full card numbers.

2.2. Shop Pay (via Shopify Payments)

If available in your country, Shop Pay allows you to:

  • Complete faster checkouts

  • Save encrypted card details

  • Use installment options (where permitted)

Installment options are provided by Shopify or partners, not One Finance Limited.

2.3. PayPal

You may pay using your PayPal account or linked payment method.
All PayPal payments follow PayPal’s terms and buyer protections.


3. Currency and Exchange Rates

3.1. Store Currency

Prices may appear in the store’s default currency or in a selected currency (if available).

3.2. Currency Conversion Fees

If your payment method uses another currency:

  • Your bank or PayPal may charge conversion fees

  • Exchange rates are controlled by your provider

One Finance Limited does not control these charges.


4. Taxes, VAT, and Sales Charges

4.1. VAT and Sales Tax

VAT or sales tax may apply depending on:

  • Shipping destination

  • EU / non-EU fulfillment location

  • Local tax rules

Some VAT shows at checkout; some may be due on delivery.

4.2. Duties and Import Fees

International shipments may require duties or customs charges.
Customers must pay these directly to customs.

5. Order Confirmation and Payment Authorization

5.1. Authorization Hold

Your payment provider may place an authorization hold when order is placed.

5.2. Payment Capture

Payment is captured when the order is processed by:

  • Printful

  • Printify

  • Spreadconnect

5.3. Failed Payments

If a payment fails:

  • The order is not processed

  • You may retry with another method

One Finance Limited is not responsible for bank fees.

5.4. Payment Security

All card payments comply with PSD2 and require SCA (e.g., 3-D Secure) where applicable.


6. Fraud Prevention and Verification

We may perform fraud checks including:

  • Identity verification

  • Address verification

  • Payment method confirmation

Orders may be canceled and refunded if considered high-risk, suspicious, or non-compliant.


7. Refunds and Payment Reversals

7.1. Refund Method

  • Refunds go to the original payment method

  • Banks may take 5–15 business days to post

  • We cannot refund to a different card/account

7.2. Refund Eligibility

Refund eligibility follows our Refund and Returns Policy.

Non-eligible items may include:

  • Personalized/custom items

  • Items returned to the wrong address

  • Print-on-demand items unless defective

7.3. Chargebacks

If a chargeback is filed:

  • We submit evidence

  • The final decision is made by card issuer/PayPal

  • Chargeback abuse may lead to cancellation or account restriction


8. Installments, Financing, or Pay-Later Options

If available (e.g., Shop Pay Installments):

  • Agreement is strictly between you and the provider

  • One Finance Limited has no access to financing details

  • We receive the full amount upfront from the provider

  • Financing fees/interest are determined by the provider

We do not offer manual installment plans.


9. Invoicing and Receipts

You will receive a digital confirmation email containing:

  • Order summary

  • Payment amount

  • Tax details

  • Product information

  • Fulfillment & shipping details

For business invoices: support@onebanking.app
Invoices cannot be modified to misrepresent value.


10. Data Protection and Payment Information

Payment data complies with:

  • GDPR

  • Malta Data Protection Act

  • Shopify PCI DSS Level 1

  • PayPal security standards

We never store full credit card details.
Sensitive information is handled by Shopify Payments and PayPal.

11. Payment Disputes

If you believe a payment was wrongly charged:

Filing a chargeback without contacting us may delay resolution.

This Payment Policy may be updated due to:

  • Changes in payment providers

  • Legal updates

  • New payment methods

  • Store operation changes

New effective dates will appear on updates.
